In 2000, Barry sold the Chem-Dry business to partner with the Dyno Group franchise organization. Over the next nineteen years, he built and coached multiple franchisees in Ireland. His business interests span consulting, coaching, mentorship, Irish whiskey and own-label brand retail, franchising within the beauty and service industries, and maintaining over 50 live websites.
Currently, Barry is the Managing Director of Paradigm Coaching and Millionaire Life Coaching. He is also a certified Proctor Gallagher Institute consultant, facilitating and coaching programs like Thinking Into Results and Lead The Field.
Barry’s journey in business began at eighteen in the carpet cleaning industry with the American franchise Chem-Dry, which he grew to a turnover of £500,000. In 1999, he sold the carpet cleaning business to join the security industry through the Dyno Group franchise. Despite initial doubts with a first-month turnover of £700, he later built the business to over £1 million and became a franchiser with multiple franchisees throughout Ireland.
During his career, Barry negotiated major deals with organizations like Centrica/British Gas and G4S. His success came with challenges, including high court actions, revenue issues, relationship issues, and depression. These experiences have equipped him with the knowledge to help others avoid similar pitfalls.
As the MD of Paradigm Coaching and Entrepreneurs Success, Barry has been coaching businesses and franchisees for over fifteen years. He is also a Proctor Gallagher Institute consultant, facilitating and coaching programs such as Thinking Into Results, Lead The Field, and Magic in Your Mind.
